Graeme Corbett- General Manager

After an extensive 15 year career in the Australian Army in communications and electronics Graeme began his mining career in Emerald QLD with the Australian Coal Industry Research Laboratory as the Calibration Centre Manager in 1994. Since then he has held various Sales and Operational positions with Mining and Mining Supply companies at State and National levels. Graeme is driven to ensure MRS Pacific becomes the number 1 choice for Underground Intelligence systems within Australasia.
 

Warren Dix - Western Regional Manager

With over 25 years’ experience in the Mining and Resources industry, Warren has held a variety of positions, including Communications Technician (working with a wide range of HF, UHF and Broadcasting equipment), Sales and Marketing Manager and Operations and General Manager.  His ongiong success has been built on having a clear understanding of customers objectives and working with and guiding a team to exceed those objectives. Warren holds a Diploma in Electronic Engineering as well as a Master’s in Business Administration, (MBA), from Curtin University. Warren brings to MRS (Pacific) a wealth of experience gained from working within National and International corporations throughout his career.

 

 

Leiza Hartley - Administration Manager

Leiza brings her extensive experience, from a diverse range of industries, to compliment the Team in Australia. Her Administrative and Customer service skills are already highly regarded and she bringing very positive results from both internal and external customers.   

Sam Woodcock- Communication and Safety Systems Technician

Sam has recently completed his apprenticeship (July 2010) and is now applying the knowledge gained to all aspects of communications field. He is a keen and enthusiastic team member who skills and future look very bright with MRS (Pacific).

Mark Berry- Project Manager

Mark has worked in Mining Communications over the past 12 years. Coupled with his Aviation training, Mark has a broad experience base to draw upon.  Mark is no stranger to Underground Communications after spending many years with MineCom Australia.  Mark’s attention to detail and solid system engineering skills will be a major asset to MRS Pacific and it’s clients.

 

 Phillip Presser- Sales Engineer

Phil brings over 20 years of Military communications experience and expertise to MRS (Pacific) Pty Ltd and is adapting that experience to our solutions and customer needs.  Phil's vast experience will benefit MRS (Pacific) Pty Ltd as he will be full involved in the integration, development, service and support of its Communication and Safety Solutions.

Key appointment signals MRS commitment to expand sales in Africa

Jaco Labuschagne, a veteran Mine Radio Systems manager with extensive technical expertise, has been promoted to the position of General Manager, South Africa Ops, effective February 1, 2012.

Previously Technical Manager for MRS, Mr. Labuschagne will be responsible for sales, customer service and market intelligence in the African continent, a well established market for MRS with significant growth potential.  The company has already deployed in eight different countries (Mali, Zambia, Tanzania, Ghana, Angola, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Namibia) industry leading communications and safety solutions for companies involved in the coal, gold, platinum, manganese, diamond and iron ore sectors.
