Wisam currently serves as the Engineering Project Manager for major tunneling and mining projects
conducted by MRS. Some of the projects Wisam has designed and managed are the Lower Lea Valley
Cable Tunnel in London UK. , the Holmesdale Road Tunnel in London UK, Yamana Gold Mines in
Jacobina, Brazil, and a CMTS system in Tayahua, Mexico.
Wisam is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Project Management Institute (PMI), and is a Registered
Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada (PEO).
Cindy is the Sales, Marketing and Project Co-ordinator for MRS. She has been with the company
since 2000. She offers a variety of skills and experience to the work environment. Cindy has a diploma
in Human Resource Management and has completed Web Site Creation & Design certification. She is
presently enrolled in the McLaughlin Masters Certificate of Project Management. Cindy is a member of
the Human Resource Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO) and a member of the Project
Management Institute (PMI).
Bob Lavergne - Technical Sales Manager
Bob has been with MRS for 5 years and works within the Chilean, Peruvian, American and Canadian
markets. He graduated as an Electronic Engineering Technologist and has an honors certificate in
Business Marketing and Management. With 19 years experience in the sales/service industry (with 10 of
those years in Mining technologies) Bob brings years of communication experience, from 2 way radio,
satellite and telephone applications. He also has a wealth of experience as a sales manager, a service
manager and an operations manager. In addition to this, he also spent one year working on underground
tracking and tagging to provide reliable systems in the mining environment. He traveled to mines around
the globe educating the mines on the importance of mine communications and tracking, and assisted in
developing several applications and products for communications and control underground.
Camilo Montiel Casiano – Sales Manager, MRS Latin America
Camilo oversees sales and operations in Latin American countries. His extensive education and field training
has taken him overseas to Scotland, England and Germany, and his experience with the Navy in his native
Mexico serves as an asset to MRS for developing the Latin American market. He has worked for numerous
private and public sector clients such as the Mexican Navy, the Federal Electrical Comisión, PEMEX, IMSS,
the governments of Tabasco, Veracruz, and Mexico City, and Penoles, Grupo Mexico, Luismin and Grupo
Frisco in the mining industry.
Vadim is responsible for the day-to-day operational control of our emerging market in all
CIS countries, including Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan for the last 6 years. In this capacity,
he oversees installations in Russia and CIS countries, including all planning, sales, project
management and budgetary activities. Vadim, as professional radio-engineer prior to this post,
served 15 years at VEF Research Institute (Flagship of ex-Soviet Union Radio Industry), as
engineer-designer for Mining Telecommunication Projects, and is well known among the
Russian mining society.
Gabor oversees the management of all plant related functions including purchasing,
inventory control, assembly, integration, shipping and receiving. Gabor comes from an
electronics manufacturing background having spent some 10 years with Nortel and
more recently with a contract electronics manufacturing firm. Gabor gives greater
structure and accountability to Plant functions and has a mandate to improve MRS
on time delivery status to our customers.
